On February 8, 2023, Western Plains North Elementary Art Students explored a small sampling of careers possible in Visual Arts. Students spent a short time at each career station, stations which included Graphic Designer, Architect, Animation, Illustration, and more. While at each station, students explored something that each artist type might do in that career. A graphic designer might work on packaging design or logos, so students designed their own chip bag, soda can, or logo. An architect might build plans and draw buildings, among other things, so students built something out of legos, and then they drew what they built. In all, this short-form artist career expo was a great hit.
