Two Bobcats selected for league academic honors

Each year the Western Kansas Liberty League honors seniors who have participated in a designated amount of athletics and extracurricular activities throughout high school while maintaining a certain GPA.

This year, two senior Bobcats have earned this distinctive honor. Both Carlee Flax and Jaztyn Kisslinger were selected as First Team WKLL Academic Team members.  Flax stated, “Being chosen for the all-academic team is a great honor as it means that I am able to showcase my abilities both in the classroom and sports and activities.” Kisslinger added, “Throughout high school I have worked hard to get good grades and be really involved, so I am proud to represent my school on the league academic team. I am glad to see that my hard work has paid off!”

Congratulations to both of these outstanding students. Carlee is the daughter of Kevin Flax and Melanie Menning, and Kisslinger is the daughter of Brad and Amy Lynch.
